The Organization of ROAR
The governing body of ROAR is the Executive
Committee. This committee consists of an elected President and Vice President, and five
appointed members. The Executive Committee controls and manages the business affairs of
ROAR and ensures that the rules are up-to-date. The day-to-day business of the corporation
is handled by the ROAR Administrator.
ROAR has several committees ranging from
rules committees to product approval committees. The committee chairpersons are appointed
by the executive committee and the members of the committe are appointed by the
chairperson.
There are 14 regions that make up ROAR. Each
region has a director who is voted in by the membership. The regional directors are
responsible for sheduling and organizing Regional Championships as well as overseeing the
racing activity in their particlular region.
